Earlier this year, we launched a small literary magazine called Cypress Review—check it out if you’re interested. We’re currently working on Issue II. It’s truly been a team effort, and I could’ve have done it without everyone on board.
This was an effort to help people share their stories more directly. It’s been such a joy to publish some incredibly moving works of poetry (and soon art and fiction too).
This focus on being a Philly-based small business that values kindness, empathy, and collaboration lead me to think about my own business (Shaina C: Editing & Proofreading).
It inspired me to extend upon my goals with Cypress Review and bring on team members too. We’re rebranding not just to clarify our image and aims but to extend upon the services we provide, to partner with fellow publishing professionals and creatives, and to truly guide writers at every step of their journey.
